Cesc Fabregas has hailed a "brilliant" Chelsea performance after the Blues thrashed Schalke 5-0 to win Group G in the Champions League.
Strikes from John Terry, Willian and an own goal from Jan Kirchhoff helped the Premier League leaders into a 3-0 half-time lead in Gelsenkirchen.
Didier Drogba and Ramires then added gloss to the scoreline in the final 15 minutes to cap what Fabregas says represented a fine display.
"I think we approached the game in a very consistent way. We were very aggressive from the beginning. I think we played great in the first five minutes," he told UEFA.com.
"We scored two quick goals and that helped a lot in the end because we controlled the game as we wanted – whether quick or slow, we controlled the tempo, so I think it was a brilliant performance."
Jose Mourinho's side conclude their group stage campaign by hosting Sporting Lisbon at Stamford Bridge next month.
