Chelsea have again been paired with Lille in the Champions League last 16 after the initial draw was declared null and void.

Earlier in the day, the European champions had avoided the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich to be given a two-legged tie with Lille.

However, several mistakes were made during the draw, including Manchester United wrongly being paired with a team in Villarreal who they had previously faced during the group stages.

However, lightning struck twice as far as the Blues were concerned as they were still provided with a meeting against the French outfit.

The two teams are no strangers to each other having squared off during the 2019-20 group stages, Chelsea prevailing by 2-1 scorelines on both occasions.

Draw in full:

Red Bull Salzburg vs. Bayern Munich
Sporting Lisbon vs. Manchester City
Benfica vs. Ajax
Chelsea vs. Lille
Atletico Madrid vs. Manchester United
Villarreal vs. Juventus
Inter Milan vs. Liverpool
Paris Saint-Germain vs. Real Madrid body check tags ::
