Didier Drogba's Chelsea cup final goals

Tomorrow night Didier Drogba will face Chelsea for the first time since his departure, and Sports Mole looks back on the goals that he scored in cup finals for the Blues.

Galatasaray striker Didier Drogba scored eight cup final goals during his eight-year stint with Chelsea.

Four of those came in the FA Cup, a further three in the League Cup and the other was scored in the Champions League.

Ahead of his first meeting with the Blues tomorrow night since he departed Stamford Bridge during the summer of 2012, Sports Mole has looked back on each of his goals for the West Londoners in showpiece encounters.

1. Liverpool 2-3 Chelsea: 2005 League Cup final
With the score level at 1-1 in extra time, Drogba held off the attention of his marker Jamie Carragher to bundle Glen Johnson's long throw into the Liverpool net in the 107th minute. His intervention helped manager Jose Mourinho to secure his first trophy in English football.

2. Chelsea 2-1 Arsenal: 2007 League Cup final
Theo Walcott gave Arsenal an early lead, but Chelsea responded through Drogba in the 20th minute as the Ivorian fired a low shot underneath Manuel Almunia. Then, as extra time loomed, Drogba rose highest to guide Arjen Robben's cross into the far corner of the net.

3. Chelsea 1-0 Manchester United: 2007 FA Cup final
Having lost out in the Premier League title race to United, Chelsea gained an element of revenge in that season's FA Cup final. Just four minutes before a penalty shootout would have been required to determine the winners, Drogba beat United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar to a bouncing ball and was able to prod his shot into an unguarded net.

4. Chelsea 2-1 Everton: 2009 FA Cup final
Everton's Louis Saha scored the fastest goal in FA Cup final history after just 25 seconds, but it was rendered meaningless come the final whistle. Frank Lampard scored the winner after Drogba had drawn Chelsea level in the 21st minute when he rose above Joleon Lescott to head an effort beyond a static Tim Howard.

5. Chelsea 1-0 Portsmouth: 2010 FA Cup final
With the scoreline locked at 0-0, Drogba, along with Alex, lined up a free kick 25 yards from goal. The responsibility fell to the centre-forward, who, having lifted the ball over the Portsmouth wall, saw it nestle in the net via David James's upright in the 59th minute.

6. Chelsea 2-1 Liverpool: 2012 FA Cup final
Another FA Cup final and another winning goal from Drogba. Early on Ramires had put the Blues in front and the lead was doubled seven minutes after the restart when, having been given the space by Martin Skrtel to shoot, Drogba duly obliged with a low strike into the bottom corner of Pepe Reina's goal. Andy Carroll halved the deficit, but it proved to be a mere consolation effort.

7. Bayern Munich 1-1 Chelsea (3-4 pens): 2012 Champions League final
Drogba was sent off for slapping Nemanja Vidic during the 2008 Champions League final in Moscow, but he atoned for that indiscretion at the Allianz Arena four years later. With just two minutes left, he fashioned enough space for himself at the near post to head in Juan Mata's corner, which took the tie into extra time. In the penalty shootout, with what would turn out to be his last kick of the ball in a Chelsea shirt, he scored the winner from 12 yards.
