Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has rubbished Steven Gerrard's claims that there is "friction" between him and club captain John Terry at Stamford Bridge.
Veteran defender Terry was left out of Mourinho's first XI for Wednesday's 4-0 Champions League win over Maccabi Tel Aviv, prompting Gerrard to suggest that all is not well between the pair.
However, the Portuguese coach, who also dropped Diego Costa, Nemanja Matic and Branislav Ivanovic to the bench, shrugs off what the Liverpool legend has said.
"Steven is wrong," he told reporters. "I have a very good relationship with [Terry]. He's wrong, because we have no problems."
Terry was hauled off at half time in the Blues' 3-0 defeat to Manchester City last month, and was sent off at West Bromwich Albion the following week.
