John Terry feels that Chelsea responded well to the defeat against Newcastle United as they beat Schalke 04 3-0 in the Champions League tonight.
The Blues fell to a 2-0 defeat at St James' Park on Saturday, but Terry says that they bounced back well against the Germans.
"It was a good win and a good response after the weekend," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
"We were shaky in the first 10 minutes, but after that and the first goal we settled down and started to play. We wanted to respond and I thought we did that."
Chelsea's win came thanks to a brace from Samuel Eto'o and a Demba Ba strike.
