Chelsea midfielder Willian has targeted making his mark at Stamford Bridge this season following his debut for the club.
The Brazilian's first appearance for the Blues ended in a 2-1 defeat to Basel in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Despite the defeat, Willian is happy to have made his debut but wants to prove himself at the London outfit.
"It was nice to make my debut for one of the biggest clubs in the world, although clearly it would have been even better if we had managed to win," Willian told reporters after the loss. "But this happens in football. We have to lift our heads and go after victory in our next games.
"In every game and every training session I want to demonstrate [to Jose Mourinho] that he can trust me. That is what I aim to do throughout the season. There are always nerves ahead of a debut, but I managed to show a little bit of my game."
Willian joined Chelsea for £30m from Anzhi Makhachkala in August.
