Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard has been ruled out of tomorrow's Europa League final in Amsterdam against Benfica because of a hamstring injury.
The Belgian international suffered the problem during Saturday's 2-1 win away at Aston Villa, with initial reports having suggested that he would miss Chelsea's last two matches of the season.
However, it appeared that the 22-year-old would be available for Wednesday's match against their Portuguese counterparts when he was part of the squad that made the trip to the Netherlands.
His chances of featuring were ended this evening, though, as interim manager Rafael Benitez confirmed that Hazard would not recover in time.
Benitez went on to reveal that a decision over captain John Terry, who picked up an ankle injury in the same game as Hazard, will be made tomorrow morning.
