Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has expressed his sympathy for teammate John Terry, who looks likely to miss the Europa League final on Wednesday due to injury.
The Blues captain collided with Aston Villa's Nathan Baker on Saturday and could now miss his second successive European final having been suspended for the Londoners' Champions League triumph in Munich last year.
Lampard, who became the club's all-time top scorer at the weekend, admits that he feels sorry for his skipper.
"I am gutted for him because I know how difficult that was for him, missing the game last year," said Lampard.
"But whatever we do as a club, John is part of it. We win things together."
