Relive Sports Mole's live text coverage of Chelsea's penalty-shootout win over Norwich City, coming after a 1-1 draw after extra time in West London.

Chelsea beat Norwich City on penalties following a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge to progress through to round four of the FA Cup.

The Blues were pegged back late in normal time through a Jamal Lewis header, cancelling out Michy Batshuayi's earlier opener.

After having Pedro and Alvaro Morata dismissed in the additional period of time, the Blues prevailed 5-3 on spot kicks to march on.

Relive how the 90 minutes of action unfolded with Sports Mole's live text coverage below.

Hello and welcome to Sports Mole's live text coverage of the FA Cup third-round replay between Chelsea and Norwich City at Stamford Bridge. The Blues were unable to find a way past their opponents in the reverse fixture 11 days ago - one of four-successive draws since the start of 2018 - and the pressure is now on to get a result this evening if they are to get their faltering campaign firmly back on track.
Norwich head to West London with little to lose, meanwhile, having gone the opposite way to their opponents of late by putting together a positive run of form. The Canaries restricted the Premier League champions to minimal champions in last week's tie in East Anglia, and now they will be hoping to build on that and pull off arguably the biggest shock of the third round.
CHELSEA TEAM NEWS!

STARTING XI: Caballero; Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Ampadu; Zappacosta, Bakayoko, Drinkwater, Kenedy; Willian, Batshuayi, Pedro

SUBS: Eduardo, Christensen, Sterling, Kante, Musonda, Hazard, Morata

Starting with a look at the home team, Antonio Conte has largely put his faith in the same side that was held to the first of those three goalless draws at Carrow Road. The midfield and attack remains the same, meaning that Michy Batshuayi - rare trusted in the Premier League - makes his 50th Chelsea appearance tonight. Ethan Ampadu is the man to come into the centre of defence as he continues his incredible rise.
Conte was always likely to be without Gary Cahill for this one due to the hamstring injury picked up against Leicester City at the weekend, while Andreas Christensen was brought on in that one and is in need of a little breather. Ampadu is therefore selected alongside the far more experienced David Luiz, who has found playing time hard to come by since the end of October. The third member of the back three is the ever reliable Cesar Azpilicueta.
Willian and Pedro cut frustrated figures before being brought on against Leicester, having surprisingly been overlooked for the Blues' last two games, but they both start tonight. Something had to change, with the Eden Hazard-Alvaro Morata partnership a little too predictable, so now focus is again on how this hybrid 3-4-3 will work. The other two players not involved for Chelsea tonight are Cesc Fabregas and Ross Barkley, out due to injury and ineligibility respectively.
NORWICH CITY TEAM NEWS!

STARTING XI: Gunn; Hanley, Zimmermann, Klose; Pinto, Reed, Vrancic, Lewis; Maddison, Oliveira, Murphy

SUBS: McGovern, Husband, Hoolahan, Tettey, Raggett, Stiepermann, Cantwell

In terms of the visitors, Daniel Farke has named a very strong side; a side showing just the one change from the impressive 1-0 win at high-flying Bristol City at the weekend. Harrison Reed comes in for Alex Tettey in central midfield to partner Mario Vrancic. The Canaries appear to be going with an identical 3-4-3 formation to Chelsea this evening, though it goes without saying that man-for-man they are very much second best.
German midfielder Tom Trybull misses out on selection for the Championship side due to a knee problem, and there is also no place in the 18-man travelling party for Tottenham Hotspur loanee Marcus Edwards, who joined after the 0-0 draw 11 days ago and is therefore ineligible. Farke has opted against shaking things up too much, then, targeting what would be a famous result for his side tonight if they can leave here with a win.
Even without Cameron Jerome and Alex Pritchard, who have left for Derby County and Huddersfield Town respectively, the Canaries still have some talent in their attacking ranks. Josh Murphy and in-demand James Maddison will likely provide support for Nelson Oliveira this evening, while a lot will be asked of aforementioned duo Reed and Vranic in the middle of the park.
Antonio Conte has stuck with the same midfield and attacking lineup from the goalless draw against Norwich when the sides last met, but there has been some rejigging in defence as youngster Ethan Ampadu is handed another start for this one. Minimal changes for Norwich City in terms of their last outing, too, with Harrison Reed coming in for Alex Tettey in their only change.
Chelsea desperate to put things right tonight, then, having started 2018 off with a string of draws. Not only have the Blues stuttered in the Premier League, losing ground on the sides around them, but they have also left their participation in both cup competitions in the balance. With a trip to Arsenal to come in the EFL Cup next week - that one remains goalless after the first leg - and Norwich this evening, there is plenty of work to be done.
The stalemate with Leicester four days ago ensured that for the first time in Chelsea's history they drew three games in a row without scoring, and should they extend that to a fourth tonight supporters really will grow restless. Of course, with this being a cup replay, extra time and penalties will follow at Stamford Bridge should they be required. On the basis of the Blues' last few games, do not bet against that being the outcome.
Chelsea had been coasting a little between November and January, going under the radar somewhat with some fairly impressive and consistent results. Their disappointing start to 2018, combined with questions that refuse to go away regarding Conte's future, means that the spotlight is now firmly on them for this third-round replay. This is a big week for the Londoners, it is fair to say, with Arsenal also to come in the EFL Cup and Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League.
The Blues have been out of the Premier League title race for a while, though, so being held at home by Leicester at the weekend was not exactly a disastrous result. It did allow Liverpool to draw level on points with them, however, and Manchester United are now three points better off after beating Stoke City on Monday night. Battling for that runners-up spot, even if Man City did themselves drop points, is their best hope right now.
Chelsea also take on Barcelona over two legs in the last 16 of the Champions League - the worst draw they could possibly have faced - so Conte may well be relying on the EFL and FA Cups to add some silverware to the cabinet. Even still, that, combined with a possible top-two finish, would not be a bad return after winning the top-flight crown in his maiden campaign at Stamford Bridge. The Italian has some money in the bank should things go south.
So where has it all gone wrong for Chelsea of late? Well the experiment with two up top in Hazard and Morata has not paid dividends, with both players out of form. The Blues have looked far too predictable as opposition teams know exactly who to make - Hazard, the only player seemingly capable of truly making something happen. Conte's 3-4-3 formation, which he is going with tonight, worked wonders last season but did come a tad stale in the closing weeks.
After overlooking Willian and Pedro for starting spots in recent games the duo now have a chance to make an impression. Conte will likely rotate for the Brighton game on Saturday lunchtime, as the trip to Arsenal a few days later simply has to take priority right now - it is a do-or-die clash in North London. Depending on this result, and who puts in a standout display, Conte may well alter formation for one or both games.
Being knocked out at this stage would be unprecedented as far as Chelsea are concerned, having reached round four on every occasion since 1998 - the longest unbeaten run of any side at this stage in the competition. The Blues were stuffed 5-3 by Manchester United on that occasion in a game they trailed 5-0 at one point. Following a hugely impressive first campaign at The Bridge, defeat for Conte tonight and the pressure will well and truly start to grow.
This replay does not help Chelsea in a month when managers tend to complain of fatigue, particularly as they remain alive in the EFL Cup and Champions League. This was supposed to be a week of rest for the Blues, but their failure to find the net against Norwich in the reverse match means that they now have this and three more games to cram in before February.

Inevitably, Chelsea have been linked with a number of names during the January transfer window. Ross Barkley is their marquee arrival so far, five months after a deadline-day move bizarrely break down, but links with Andy Carroll - bizarre in their own way - simply will not go away. Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez is also a rumoured target, though as things stand it looks as though Conte will again be left frustrated.
The Blues are seeking an eighth success in this famous competition, and a sixth in 14 years, while Norwich are still aiming to get off the mark in that regard. The two-time EFL Cup winners are seen as big underdogs to overcome the English champions tonight, though on recent form they should be confident of pulling off a shock result. Only two Championship sides, Derby and Wolves, have been in better form over the past month.
It had been a disappointing opening four months or so to Daniel Farke's maiden campaign at Carrow Road up until a Boxing Day win kick-started the Canaries' campaign. All of a sudden they have taken 10 points from a possible 12 and the playoffs are now within reach, while a potential FA Cup run would also provide a welcome bonus. They were unlucky not to advance in the EFL Cup, beaten 2-1 by Arsenal following a couple of late Eddie Nketiah goals.
Norwich beat Bristol City 1-0 in their most recent outing thanks to another Maddison strike, having also edged out Millwall and Birmingham City either side of a Burton Albion stalemate. It is five without defeat in all competitions, meanwhile, thanks to that score draw with the Blues earlier this month, and all of a sudden supporters are left dreaming of a late surge towards the Championship's top six. Do they have enough time? History suggests they do.
The playoff zone is just three points out of reach for the Canaries, who take on sixth-placed Sheffield United at the weekend - their biggest game of the season, even accounting for this trip to Stamford Bridge. They have offloaded some players during the January transfer window, though, waving goodbye to aforementioned duo Pritchard and Jerome - now at Huddersfield and Derby - while Yanic Wildschut and Jonny Russell have gone on loan to Cardiff and Rangers respectively.
Farke will likely want to bring in one or two players to compensate, using the window to sign those who fit the system he prefers. Prior to this current five-match run without defeat, City had won just one of their previous 11 and the German was under some serious pressure at Carrow Road. As the old saying goes, though, one positive result can change things completely and all of a sudden they are now surging towards the playoffs.
DID YOU KNOW? Norwich City have been knocked out at the third-round stage of the FA Cup in each of the last four seasons. The Canaries have also lost each of their last five replays in this famous competition away from home, last winning on the road in 1987 when they took on Huddersfield Town.
With kickoff now a little over five minutes away, let us check out some pre-match thoughts from both camps.

Antonio Conte: "We want to try to win and try to find the best way to win. For sure, we are making many rotations like in the first game. But, at the same time, we want to go into the next round. For sure, to have many games, we must be proud because it means that, in every competition, we are going forward. But, at the same time, you arrive at the end of February and March risking to be tired."

Daniel Farke: "We are going there without pressure. We're looking forward to it and will see what happens. Chelsea will be there with a really good squad. They might bring some fresh players in, but I expect they will be focused. We will try to bring a really strong squad onto the field. To repeat such a performance against a giant for a third time would be outstanding."

PREVIOUS MEETINGS! Chelsea are unbeaten in their last 14 meetings with Norwich City, stretching back to December 1994 - winning 10 and drawing four in that time. The Blues also have also won seven of the last eight encounters at Stamford Bridge, last losing a home match in this fixture 25 years ago; Ruel Fox and Chris Sutton registering for the Canaries that day.
Norwich have failed to score in six of their last seven away meetings with Chelsea, in fact, netting just two in total and conceding a whopping 22. The good news for the Canaries, though, is that they have four clean sheets in their last five Championship and FA Cup outings combined, having previously gone 11 without one in all competitions. Can they continue their resurgence in West London this evening? We are about to find out...

We were about to find out, at least, but kickoff has been delayed at Stamford Bridge until around 8pm due to difficulties with public transport. The players will now continue their pre-match routine for another five minutes or so before making their way down the tunnel area.
There is a chance of extra time and penalties this evening as well, remember, so the night could be extended for a little while longer yet. A reminder that Chelsea have included youngster Ethan Ampadu in their starting lineup this evening in a side that is otherwise unchanged in midfield and attack, despite the Blues' struggles to find a way through the Canaries' backline 11 days ago.
Stamford Bridge, not all that surprisingly, is far from at full capacity this evening. Hardly the most inspiring of cup ties, in truth, and there was only a short turnover period between the first match and this replay. As things stand, the game will get under way at 8pm, 15 minutes later than originally planned. A reminder that the winner of this one will face Newcastle United at home in round four.
Norwich, like Chelsea, are expected to go with a 3-5-3 formation tonight. Maddison will play in an attacking midfield position, though, so that could be seen as more of a 3-4-1-2, with Murphy and Oliveira slightly more advanced. The central midfield battle will see Drinkwater and Bakayoko - still yet to really get going since arriving from Monaco in the summer - come up against Reed and Vranic.
We are now just a couple of minutes away from this delayed kickoff at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea unbeaten in their last 14 meetings with Norwich City in all competitions, dating back to December 1994, and the Canaries have failed to score in six of the last eight encounters between the sides. An improvement on that record is required tonight if they are to produce a big upset.

KICKOFF! Championship side Norwich City get us up and running in West London. The ground looking a lot more compact than it did five or 10 minutes ago, with congestion around the ground causing the 15-minute delay to kickoff here.
One thing not touched upon in the pre-match ramble is the use of VAR tonight. It was called upon at the King Power Stadium last night, ensuring that Kelechi Iheanacho's strike - his second of the match - stood following a quick look back at the footage.
Norwich unable to get going at the moment, knocking the ball out of play a few times down their left-hand side. Similarly, the home side struggling to put a string of passes together and Caballero has just booted the ball out of touch.
SHOT! The first shot of the evening comes via the boot of Drinkwater, who let leash from 25 yards. The attempt was decent enough, giving Angus Gunn something to think about, but it ended wide of the target in the end.
Kenedy desperate to get a shot away at Gunn's goal, but he is closed down and has to settle for a corner. Ampadu and Luiz make their way up the pitch, only for a visiting player to get a telling touch to the ball and help it away.
SAVE! Norwich looking a tad nervous at the moment, with Willian getting a powerful shot away from an angle that Gunn can only parry. The ball goes out for a corner, which works its way to Azpilicueta who somehow failed to turn it home from three yards.
CHANCE! Chelsea starting to enjoy themselves now as they close in on a first goal in four games. A trademark pass over the top from Cesar Azpilicueta is brought down and then dragged wide by Willian inside the area.
SAVE! The Blues certainly have their shooting boots on tonight, with Luiz blasting a free kick down the middle from around 30 yards for Gunn to deal with. Nothing major for the City keeper to do thus far, but Chelsea just warming up.
Murphy gives Caballero something to think about when chasing down a ball over the top. The Chelsea stopper looked dodgy in the opening few minutes with a misplaced pass, but that was a gamble that paid off as he got to the ball first.
A positive enough start to the contest as far as Chelsea are concerned, then, getting a couple of attempts on target and coming close with another one or two. Norwich remain level for now, though, with nearly a quarter of the match played.
Chelsea unable to keep that momentum going following a bright opening 15 minutes or so at Stamford Bridge. Conte will not be too concerned at this point, but the longer it remains goalless the more supporters will grow restless.
Zappacosta stands the ball up for Kennedy to whack near the back post, but Pinto was well positioned to block it aside. May well have been creeping into the bottom corner so big block, that. Batshuayi then in behind and wrongly flagged for offside.
OFF THE BAR! Batshuayi goes to ground but the referee adjudged that Hanley simply stood his ground. Chelsea's next attack sees them come close, however, as Drinkwater's shot from range crashed back off the crossbar.
Replays show that Gunn got a fingertip to that Drinkwater shot so credit to the goalkeeper. Great attempt from Drinkwater, regardless, with the ball swerving through the cold night air before eventually striking the woodwork.
Goalless after half an hour but Chelsea have been the dominant side. Gunn has produced a few saves already, including one to help the ball on to the crossbar a few moments ago. Pedro gets to the ball ahead of Klose and wins his side a free kick.
Willian loves taking on free kicks from this range, around 20 yards out with an angle to work with. A disappointing attempt on this occasion, however, lifting the ball over the wall but also well over the opposition goal.
Over 120 minutes into this tie and we are still awaiting the first goal. Chelsea are perhaps deserving of one on the basis of what we have seen so far tonight, but Angus Gunn has stood firm to everything thrown his way so far.
OFF THE BAR! Norwich hit the crossbar from their first effort of any note. It all came from a Michy Batshuayi mistake; the Belgian gifted the ball to Nelson Oliveira, who hit the frame of the goal via his dipping shot from 20 yards.
City starting to see more of the ball since that Oliveira shot which clipped the crossbar. Looking less nervous at the back and are good value to extend the scoreless nature of this match into the interval, which is eight minutes away.
No doubt that Norwich are full of confidence now, as Maddison makes a smart run and gives Oliveira a chance to get away a shot from the edge of the box. The attempt ended wide and, from the next move, Murphy's cross was flashed across goal.
The visitors have been the side on top for the last five minutes or so. Bit of afters from Kenedy, who slapped the back of Oliveira through frustration after being brought to ground. Four minutes of the first half left to play here.
Chelsea have seen three-quarters of the ball in this first half, but they have not really made the most of it. Danny Drinkwater's shot the closest they have come so far, helped on to the frame of the goal by Norwich keeper Angus Gunn.
HALF TIME: CHELSEA 0-0 NORWICH CITY
The two sides go into the interval level at 0-0 following another abject first-half showing from the Blues. It started off well enough, with a few shots on target in the opening 15 minutes or so, but Norwich City soon grew into the match and it was far more balanced come the final 15 minutes.
Chelsea started brightly and got a couple of shots away on target through Willian and Luiz, with the Brazil pair both denied by some routine goalkeeping from Angus Gunn. Willian had another chance to open the scoring but could only drag wide after bringing down Cesar Azpilicueta's trademark diagonal pass, and the Spanish defender also came close when sliding in to meet a corner at the back post that narrowly evaded him.
Norwich, winless in 14 games against Chelsea heading into this latest encounter, were being pegged back and relying on Gunn to keep them in the contest. The English keeper got a fingertip to Danny Drinkwater's 30-yard shot and helped it against the crossbar, as the home side's wait for a goal continued. Second best up until that point, City did well to grow into the match and themselves hit the frame of the goal through Nelson Oliveira, who was gifted the ball on the edge of the by a misplaced Michy Batshuayi pass.
That proved to be it in terms of the first-half chances, meaning that it remains all to play for after 135 minutes of football. Another 45 minutes ahead of us at least, but this is looking increasingly as though it will go the full distance. Here is a reminder of both sides' benches...

CHELSEA SUBS: Eduardo, Christensen, Sterling, Kante, Musonda, Hazard, Morata

NORWICH CITY SUBS: McGovern, Husband, Hoolahan, Tettey, Raggett, Stiepermann, Cantwell

RESTART! Chelsea, a tad later than their opponents to emerge out of the tunnel, get us back up and running at Stamford Bridge. Neither manager made any changes at the interval, so it is as you were in that regard.
Conte no doubt had some strong words to say at the interval, but his players have been just as slack as they were at the end of the first half. Norwich, in contrast, full of confidence now and starting to pass the ball around with a swagger.
Away boss Farke will be hoping that this second half pans out in the same manner. Neither manager wanted this replay and an additional 30 minutes will make things even worse, but the Canaries know that they have a real chance of snatching this.
Batshuayi not exactly playing his way into Conte's thoughts with his display tonight. The Belgian continuing to plug away but his biggest involvement thus far was to pass the ball straight to Oliveira for that first-half chance.
Murphy would have been clean through on goal had Caballero not been alert to the danger - good goalkeeping to sweep up the through-ball. Chelsea now pushing players high up the pitch, which is leaving those gaps open at the back.
GOAL! CHELSEA 1-0 NORWICH CITY (MICHY BATSHUAYI)
I was just about to say Chelsea have started to turn the screw after pegging Norwich back a little, and they have a breakthrough goal thanks to Michy Batshuayi. Kenedy got in behind down the left and squared it to the Belgian, who had the simple task of converting into the roof of the net from close range - his first goal since October.
Norwich without Klose for the time being due to an injury problem. The centre-back blocked that Bakayoko shot just before Batshuayi opened the scoring and has been unable to shake it off for the time being, so a change may be required.
Maddison sends a free kick into the box for Caballero to get two fists to, as Norwich look to make an immediate response. The Canaries with nothing to lose now, so they will likely start getting bodies forward regularly.
OFF THE POST! Incredible! Chelsea unable to clear their lines following some conclusion and Murphy's shot appeared to be cleared off the line by Ampadu. The Blues wanted a pen from their next attack but Pedro clearly dived and the referee spotted it.
SAVE! There was no touch from Ampadu, in fact - it went straight through and hit the post. Norwich deserving of a leveller as Maddison's shot is superbly stopped by Caballero down low - the best save of the match.
Since that Chelsea goal Norwich have been a dominant force, hitting the post and testing Caballero through that Maddison shot form inside the box. The Blues could do with a second to kill off their second-tier opponents.
Some sloppy play from the visitors almost lets Chelsea in for a second. Batshuayi's goal the difference between the two sides at the moment, but the Blues' lead is incredibly slender with around 20 minutes of time left to play.
CHANCE! The rain really starting to come down at Stamford Bridge now in this tight third-round replay. A good chance for midfielder Danny Drinkwater to add a second for his side, but his shot from the edge of the box drifts wide.
Still plenty of time for Norwich to find a goal that would likely take this tie into extra time. Still awaiting the first change of the evening at Stamford Bridge, with Hazard and Morata both among the Blues' back-up options this evening.
SAVE! Oliveira with his side's first attempt in a while, sending a rather tame shot down the middle for Caballero to get behind. Norwich plugging away well, and Conte may well be tempted to bring on some reinforcements.
SAVE! Similar to that Oliveira attempt at the other end, Bakayoko puts his foot through the ball but it was a routine enough stop from Gunn down the middle. Morata looks as though he is about to come on, likely for Batshuayi.
Maddison with a chance to swing the ball in from a free kick on the right, which he does not really make the most of as it was cleared away. Norwich do manage to keep the pressure on, though, before Murphy blasted into the stands.
CHELSEA SUBS! Batshuayi is replaced by Morata with nine minutes to play and, moments later, youngster Ampadu made way for Christensen. Conte taking no risks now, bringing on reinforcements at both ends of the pitch.
NORWICH CITY SUB! Farke responds to Conte's double change by bringing on experienced midfielder Wes Hoolahan in place of Reed for the closing stages. Alvaro Morata glances Danny Drinkwater's cross wide of Angus Gunn's goal.
SUBS! Another couple of changes now, as Cantwell comes on for injury victim Hanley and Kante replaces Kenedy. Conte just changing system somewhat to see through these final five minutes, desperate to avoid extra time.
With three minutes to go at Stamford Bridge last year's runners-up are still unable to look ahead to that fourth-round tie with Newcastle. Visitors Norwich still in this one but they have struggled to create anything for a while now.
The Blues in no particular rush to work the ball into the box, but it does eventually arrive into the middle where Morata could not quite turn it home. The Spaniard did not look all that confident when lunging in and the ball went under his boot.
CHANCE! After that half-chance for Morata the Spaniard turned provider, squaring it for Willian who appeared to dummy it rather than shooting. Silly decision, as Gunn pounced on the loose ball. This tie is still alive!
GOAL! CHELSEA 1-1 NORWICH CITY (JAMAL LEWIS)
From what is essentially the final attacking move of the match, youngster Jamal Lewis glances a cross into the far corner of the net to send the Norwich fans wild. Unbelievable! Conte was livid before the leveller - what on earth will his mood be like now?!
END OF 90 MINUTES: CHELSEA 1-1 NORWICH CITY
A first senior goal for Lewis sends us to extra time. Kickoff was delayed by around 15 minutes here and we are now set to play an additional 30. Penalties will then follow if there is still nothing to separate the two sides.

KICKOFF! Here we go again! Not quite sure how this one has lasted this long, with Chelsea somehow letting the lead slip away with seconds of the match left. Momentum now likely to be with the visitors for this period of extra time.
PENALTY APPEAL! For the second time tonight referee Graham Scott penalises a Chelsea player for diving. Unlike with Pedro in the first half, though, this one appeared to be the wrong call - Willian was clipped by Klose slightly. Weirdly, we didn't cross to VAR.
Pedro again goes down in the box but this one is also not given. On that Willian incident, it apparently did go to VAR but it was deemed that Graham Scott made the right call - I'm not so sure. Drama throughout this third-round replay!
YELLOW CARD! James Maddison wipes out Kante with his challenge and is rightly cautioned by Graham Scott. No chances in extra time so far, as such, but that one big call for the referee to make when Willian went to ground.
Cantwell is slipped through but is unable to square the ball to one of his teammates. Disappointing pass in the end, as Luiz was able to cut it out for a corner. Regardless, Norwich are just as likely to find a goal as their opponents.
CHELSEA SUB! Hazard is finally introduced, with 101 minutes of the match played. Drinkwater makes way as Conte goes in search of a winner, hoping to avoid the lottery that is penalty kicks. Four minutes of the half to play.
Zimmermann rather scuffs the ball behind for a corner kick. Not the most confident of clearances, but he got the job done as Norwich are still level. As is often the case in extra time, very little created in front of goal so far.
Jamal Lewis, the player who sent this game to extra time, is played in over the top but is unable to get the ball into the box. Norwich have just about edged this first half of extra time, though Chelsea did have a strong penalty appeal rejected.
HALF TIME IN EXTRA TIME: CHELSEA 1-1 NORWICH CITY
Superb double save from Gunn at the end of the first half, producing a big hand to keep out Willian's shot. Morata then got on the end of a cross but was unable to send his volley past the Norwich keeper. Chelsea did not want that half to end.
RESTART! Chelsea, aggrieved to have seen that huge penalty call go against them - even with the use of VAR - now pressing for a winner. They have just 15 minutes to find one, or else we will go all the way to penalty kicks.
Klose at full stretch to help the ball behind for a corner kick - a vital interception as Pedro was ghosting in behind. Conte has used all four of his changes, but opposite number Farke still has a couple available to use.
Just to continue Chelsea's frustrations, another penalty call goes against Chelsea. The hosts felt that the ball hit the arm of Klose, but on this occasion the referee made the right decision by waving play on. Incredibly tense in West London!
Cantwell, brought on in the second half of normal time, putting his fresh legs to good use by latching on to a loose ball. Caballero just about go there first, though, as we await the first attempt in the final leg of this gripping cup tie.
SAVE! Morata peels off his man and makes contact with a right-sided cross, which he can only send at Gunn. The Spaniard was scoring those for fun in the opening quarter of the campaign; not so over the last couple of months.
NORWICH CITY SUB! Farke has brought on Tettey, the one player to make way form the Norwich XI tonight, in place of Pinto for the closing stages. Pinto has been struggling with cramp and clearly unable to continue.
RED CARD! Chelsea will see out the final couple of minutes with 10 men as Pedro, booked for diving in the first half, has been shown a second yellow after going through Wes Hoolahan. Can Norwich capitalise in the remaining 120 seconds?
RED CARD! This is incredible! Morata becomes the third Chelsea player cautioned for diving. The Spaniard went down too easy with an opposition player's arm on his shoulder, but he was furious with Graham Scott's call and was shown a second yellow for dissent.
FULL TIME IN EXTRA TIME: CHELSEA 1-1 NORWICH CITY
Timm Klose with a header at the very end of extra time, which ended in the hands of Caballero. That extra time had all sorts, but it ultimately ended all square so we will go to penalties. Chelsea have not been knocked out in the third round since 1998, remember!
GOAL! CHELSEA 1-0 NORWICH CITY (WILLIAN)
SAVE! CHELSEA 1-0 NORWICH CITY (OLIVEIRA)
GOAL! CHELSEA 2-0 NORWICH CITY (LUIZ)
GOAL! CHELSEA 2-1 NORWICH CITY (MADDISON)
GOAL! CHELSEA 3-1 NORWICH CITY (AZPILICUETA)
GOAL! CHELSEA 3-2 NORWICH CITY (VRANCIC)
GOAL! CHELSEA 4-2 NORWICH CITY (KANTE)
GOAL! CHELSEA 4-3 NORWICH CITY (MURPHY)
GOAL! CHELSEA 5-3 NORWICH CITY (EDEN HAZARD)
CHELSEA THROUGH TO ROUND FOUR OF FA CUP!
Chelsea win the penalty shootout 5-3 to set up a home tie against Newcastle United next week. Nelson Oliveira, first up for Norwich City, saw his attempt saved by Willy Caballero and the Blues were successful with each of their efforts. A night of talking points aplenty at Stamford Bridge, and you can relive it all with our on-the-whistle report right here. Thanks for joining!
