Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has revealed that the team is confident ahead of today's FA Cup final clash with Chelsea.
The Reds have been inconsistent throughout the season so far, as shown in their last two matches - an impressive away win at Norwich being followed by a dull 1-0 defeat at home to Fulham.
However, Suarez believes that the Norwich result, coupled with last month's semi-final victory over Everton, will give the side sufficient momentum going into the match against Chelsea.
"I think it's a good thing that the whole group is feeling confident. We're coming off the back of the semi-final win over Everton and a great win at Norwich. We slipped up against Fulham but our confidence is still quite high as we face Chelsea, said Suarez.
"They have been in good form lately too, and they of course knocked Barcelona out of the Champions League, and we have to be aware of that, however we've managed to beat them twice at their place this season.
"Of course our manager will be studying them closely and then it's down to us to carry out his plans out there during the game."
Suarez, who has netted 17 times in 36 games this season, is looking to pick up his second piece of silverware with Liverpool, having been part of the side that beat Cardiff in the Carling Cup final earlier this season.
