Chelsea face Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon having ended their three-match winless streak in all competitions earlier this week.
After failing to defeat Manchester City, Valencia and West Ham United, Chelsea did enough to claim a 2-1 victory over Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.
However, ahead of their next outing, which comes less than 72 hours after the success over the West Midlands outfit, Frank Lampard still has several issues regarding the fitness of some of his first-team squad.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up their latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest on Merseyside.
Antonio Rudiger
Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: December 10 (vs. Lille)
Speaking earlier this week, Lampard revealed that while Rudiger is making progress in his bid to return from a groin injury, he was still a week away from just his second competitive outing of the season. With that in mind, the German is unlikely to feature in the squad this weekend.
Status: Out
Type of injury: Achilles
Possible return date: December 26 (vs. Southampton)
While Loftus-Cheek is said to be close to a return to the first-team squad after an Achilles injury, the midfielder is unlikely to feature until the back end of December.
Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: December 7 (vs. Everton)
After seemingly recovering from an ankle injury, Barkley was sidelined for the game against Villa due to illness. However, the playmaker may be available to play against his former club.
