Chelsea have revealed that Callum Hudson-Odoi made an appearance in training on Tuesday as the winger continues his recovery from an Achilles injury.
The England international has been out of action since suffering the injury against Burnley on April 22, with surgery taking place later that week.
The initial suggestion was that the 18-year-old would be out of action until the back end of 2019, at a time when the teenager is still to sign a new contract at the West Londoners.
However, it appears that the academy graduate is ahead of schedule, having trained with the Chelsea squad at Cobham on Tuesday.
Providing that he endures no setbacks in the coming weeks, Hudson-Odoi could come into contention for a place in the first-team squad by the middle of September.
