Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has revealed that both N'Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic will be unavailable for selection against Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon.
Kante is still struggling with an ankle problem, and the Blues head coach has said that he will not take any risks when it comes to the France international's fitness.
Meanwhile, Pulisic suffered an ankle injury while representing the United States during the recent international break and is set to be out for at least the next 10 days.
"N'Golo still suffers a little bit. We will try for N'Golo on Tuesday. That's looks good. Christian came yesterday on crutches. He has an ankle injury with about 10 days," Tuchel told reporters.
The Blues will also be without the services of Reece James this weekend due to the red card that the England international picked up against Liverpool before the international break.
As it stands, Thiago Silva is also out due to a FIFA-imposed suspension, but the club are working behind the scenes in an attempt to overcome the ban.
