Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez has rued his side's lack of finishing following Wednesday's 2-0 first-leg defeat to Swansea City in the Capital One Cup semi-finals.
Despite having 24 attempts at goal, the Blues were punished for their errors at Stamford Bridge as the Swans took control of the tie.
"We had a lot of chances and could have scored two or three in the first half, one or two in the second," Benitez told the club's official website. "We made two mistakes and paid for them.
"The way we played, the control we had, for me, is what we have to do. We have to be more clinical in front of goal and take these chances but we were doing a lot of these things really well."
Chelsea make the trip to the Liberty Stadium for the second leg on January 23.
