Chelsea defender Ryan Bertrand has claimed that his year keeps getting better after he scored his second goal for the club in Tuesday's Capital One Cup victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 23-year-old England international made it 2-0 at Stamford Bridge as the Blues romped to a 6-0 triumph against their Championship opponents.
"The year just keeps getting better for me so as long as I can keep it going I should be able to do good things," he told the club's official website.
"We want to keep it going and hopefully repeat the success we had last year. The manager is utilising the squad and rotating it very well, and he chooses the players who can be effective in every game."
Bertrand's first goal for Chelsea came in August's Community Shield defeat to Manchester City.
