Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has insisted that the Blues can still improve after they beat Derby County 3-1 at the iPro Stadium this evening to book their place in the League Cup semi-final.
Strikes from Eden Hazard, Filipe Luis and Andre Schurrle wrapped up the victory over 10-man Derby, and Fabregas is certain that Jose Mourinho's team can still get better.
"These kinds of games are always difficult. It is probably their biggest game of the season and we have to be up for it," Fabregas told reporters after the final whistle.
"I'm enjoying playing in this team, we have a very strong squad and we want to go for everything. We can get better, 100% and we know that. Everyone is really focussed and professional but the next two or three weeks are very important.
"Time will tell how good this season can be. We have the talent, the discipline and the courage to do it, I know that."
Chelsea continue their season when they face Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on December 22.
