Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has expressed his belief that tensions could run high in tomorrow night's Capital One Cup semi-final second leg against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The England international was rumoured to have had a heated exchange with Diego Costa in the tunnel at Anfield following last week's 1-1 draw in the first leg.
Henderson has played down the reports, but when asked if there could be a fiery edge to the game and whether it's likely that he'll be targeted by the Blues fans, the midfielder said: "Probably.
"Liverpool, Chelsea - two big teams," the Daily Mail quotes Henderson as saying. "I haven't really thought about it, it doesn't really bother me.
"The main thing is I go there and do the best for the team. You have to be strong mentally and physically and I think we have been that recently."
Liverpool head into the game on the back of a goalless draw with Bolton Wanderers in the FA Cup, while Chelsea face the Reds following Saturday's shock 4-2 defeat to Bradford City in the fourth round of the competition.
