Liverpool playmaker Adam Lallana has hailed Thibaut Courtois as "world class" after the Chelsea goalkeeper denied the England star a winner in their League Cup draw on Tuesday.
The Belgium international made an impressive stop to deny Lallana with the game at 1-1, and the former Southampton skipper was full of praise for the goalkeeper.
"I can't believe the keeper saved it, I was halfway on my celebration," the Reds midfielder told the club's official website.
"It was a fantastic save and probably one of the reasons why he got Man of the Match. He is world class and Chelsea are a world-class team.
"We come off the pitch disappointed but still in the game. We'll go to Stamford Bridge and we're fully confident we can go through to the final."
Lallana signed for the Reds in the summer for around £25m.
