Relive Sports Mole's live commentary of the Premier League clash between Everton and Chelsea from Goodison Park, which finished 2-0.

Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson scored the goals as Everton recorded a 2-0 win over Chelsea in Sunday afternoon's Premier League clash at Goodison Park.

Chelsea passed up a number of chances to register in the first period and it proved to be Everton's day as the Toffees scored twice without reply in the second 45 minutes of action.

Read how it all unfolded in Sports Mole's minute-by-minute coverage of the action below.

Good afternoon and welcome to Sports Mole's live commentary of the Premier League clash between Everton and Chelsea from Goodison Park. Everton have only won one of their last six in the Premier League, which is a run of form that has seen them drop into 12th position. Chelsea, meanwhile, were held at home by Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend, but would move level on points with fourth-placed Arsenal if they win this afternoon. Stay tuned for live coverage of the action!
TEAMS!

EVERTON (4-2-3-1): Pickford; Coleman, Keane, Mina, Digne; Gueye, Gomes; Bernard, Sigurdsson, Richarlison; Calvert-Lewin

CHELSEA (4-3-3): Kepa; Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso; Kante, Jorginho, Barkley; Pedro, Higuain, Hazard

The big team news for Everton sees Yerry Mina start a Premier League match for the first time in 2019. Mina replaces Kurt Zouma, who cannot play against his parent club. Elsewhere, Dominic Calvert-Lewin will again lead the line with support from Richarlison and Bernard in the wide positions.
As for Chelsea, Ross Barkley is handed a start against his former club, while Gonzalo Higuain will lead the line with support from Eden Hazard and Pedro. Olivier Giroud scored a hat-trick in the Europa League on Thursday night, but the Frenchman is back on the bench for this match.
KICKOFF:  Everton kick things off at Goodison Park...
... well, Barkley has been booed by the Everton fans when touching the ball early on here; to be fair, he probably expected it. Chelsea are in yellow this afternoon with Everton in blue and white.
Not too much to report in terms of attacking football from either side in the first four minutes. You do get the feeling that the first goal could be vital in this match; the crowd can turn here.
Barkley continues to be jeered and the Everton fans love it as Gueye takes the ball away from the midfielder. Just a few signs that Chelsea are starting to dominate the possession here.
SAVE!  Very, very smart save from Pickford to keep out a low strike from Hazard. Pickford was criticised last week against Newcastle, but that's an excellent stop from the Englishman.
OFF THE POST!  Hazard hits the beans this time as the Belgium international's low strike comes off the post. Pickford could not make contact, but the post comes to the home side's rescue.
CHANCE!  Super chance for Chelsea once again as Higuain breaks into the Everton box, but a combination of Mina and Pickford manage to keep the ball out of the back of the net.
Everton are struggling to get into the match at the moment as Chelsea continue to use the ball. Gueye hobbles off the field and the home side might need to make a change here.
Chelsea are building from the back with Luiz looking to pick out passes into midfield.
Alonso wins a header inside the Everton box, but Mina manages to make the clearance. It is a struggle for the home side to get hold of the ball as Chelsea pass and probe in forward areas.
Still goalless with 16 minutes on the clock, and we have not seen much from Everton. Calvert-Lewin is fairly isolated in the final third at the moment, while Richarlison has seen little of the ball.
SHOT!  Calvert-Lewin misses the crossbar with a strike from outside the Chelsea box.
Still goalless with 19 minutes on the clock, but just a few signs that Everton are starting to get into the match. There is no question that the home side have the players to hurt Chelsea.
SAVE!  Pickford keeps out a powerful low drive from Jorginho as Chelsea come close again.
Everton build down the left through Digne, but Kante is across to make the clearance. You just feel that Silva's side need a period in possession in order to take the pressure off.
SAVE!  Pickford, this time, keeps out a long-range strike from Barkley.
Still goalless with 25 minutes on the clock, but Chelsea have certainly had the better chances. Everton have a free kick down the left, though, as Bernard is challenged by Luiz.
SAVE!  Comfortable for Kepa to keep out a strike from Andre Gomes.
Little over 15 minutes of the first period remaining and Chelsea have been the better side, but have not really had a good chance since the early exchanges. Not too much of an atmosphere inside the stadium it must be said; Everton need more from their supporters here.
You do get the feeling that the first goal could be crucial in this match. Chelsea will feel that they should be ahead, but Everton have just started to feel their way back into this football game.
CHANCE!  Pedro fires wide of the Everton post from inside the box!
CLOSE!  Higuain clips over from inside the Everton box as another opportunity arrives.
YELLOW CARD!  Alonso (Chelsea) is booked for pulling Richarlison to the ground.
CLOSE!  Calvert-Lewin heads a Sigurdsson free kick over the Chelsea crossbar.
It must be said that the first 40 minutes of this match have flown past. Everton are fairly fortunate not to have conceded, but Chelsea have lacked intent following a bright start.
Pressure from Chelsea in the last few minutes as they keep the ball in and around the Everton box, but the home side stand their ground and Higuain is forced to go back before Keane clears.
Richarlison fouls Hazard and Chelsea have a free kick in a dangerous position...
... Barkley's free kick is straight into the Everton wall.
CLOSE!  Pedro swings his low effort just wide of the Everton post.
DISALLOWED GOAL!  Pedro fires into the back of the net from close range, but the offside flag had been raised.
We are into the first of two minutes of added time.
HALF TIME:  EVERTON 0-0 CHELSEA
So there we have it. The referee brings the first period to a close with the two teams level at 0-0. There is no question that Chelsea have had the better chances, but the Blues have been unable to find the back of the net. Everton, on the other hand, have struggled to create openings.
STATISTICS! Chelsea dominated the possession with 67%, while they had 10 shots, three of which were on target. Everton, meanwhile, had three shots, but just one found the target. Just the one booking to report, with Alonso carded in the 36th minute for a foul on Bernard.
BENCH WATCH! Chelsea have a lot of attacking talent on their bench, with Willian, Giroud, Hudson-Odoi and Loftus-Cheek all capable of making a difference in the second period. Everton, meanwhile, have options in the shape of Davies, Lookman, Tosun and Walcott. Plenty of talent there.
KICKOFF:  Chelsea resume the action here...
CLOSE!  ... Bernard comes close to meeting a whipped cross from Coleman!
SAVE!  Kepa is on hand to make a wonderful save to keep out a powerful Gomes strike!
GOAL!  EVERTON 1-0 CHELSEA (RICHARLISON)
Breakthrough! Everton take the lead in the 49th minute as Richarlison heads home from close range after Kepa had denied Calvert-Lewin from a header. Big moment!
Richarlison delivers another dangerous cross into the Chelsea box, but Luiz clears.
Giroud is on the bench for Chelsea, but has not yet been sent to warm up. Sarri will not panic, mainly because his side have actually pleased really well for long periods of this match.
Barkley combines with Hazard in a forward position before the latter delivers, but there are no takers. Keane then hammers clear another cross from Alonso as the hosts remain 1-0 ahead.
CLOSE!  Alonso hits the side-netting with a powerful strike!
CHANCE!  Massive chance for Everton to double their lead as Calvert-Lewin finds himself free inside the Chelsea box, but the striker cannot make proper contact!
YELLOW CARD!  Gomes (Everton) is booked for a foul on Pedro.
SAVE!  Super save from Pickford to keep out a low Higuain strike!
YELLOW CARD!  Rudiger (Chelsea) is booked for a foul on Bernard.
Chelsea are preparing to make a double change as we enter the final 30 minutes here. Barkley has just had a strike from outside the box, but Keane made a smart block.
CHELSEA SUBS! Giroud and Loftus-Cheek replace Barkley and Higuain.
You do get the feeling that there is another goal in this match. Chelsea continue to build from the back, but Everton are still committing a lot of players forward each time that they break.
EVERTON SUB! Schneiderlin takes the place of Gomes.
Gueye has a shot blocked by Loftus-Cheek as Chelsea scramble to clear their lines again.
PENALTY!  Everton have a penalty as Richarlison is brought to the ground by Alonso!
GOAL!  EVERTON 2-0 CHELSEA (SIGURDSSON)
Oh no! Sigurdsson sees his penalty saved by Kepa, but the Iceland international is on hand to convert the rebound from close range. Very fortunate for the home side!
CHELSEA SUB! Hudson-Odoi replaces Jorginho for the away side.
EVERTON SUB! Walcott replaces Bernard for the home side.
Little over 10 minutes of the second period remaining and a goal for Chelsea at this stage would be very interesting, but Everton are still threatening on the counter-attack here.
SAVE!  Decent save from Kepa to keep out a low strike from Walcott.
SAVE!  Smart save from Pickford to keep out a curler from Hudson-Odoi.
Time is running out for Chelsea as Everton just look to slow the game down here.
EVERTON SUB! Davies replaces Sigurdsson for the home side.
Hudson-Odoi has been really bright for Chelsea since entering the field, but a deep cross from the Englishman has just failed to find Giroud as the minutes tick away at Goodison Park.
I should not imagine that there will be too much added time here; probably three minutes.
Wow, five minutes! We are into the first of those...
... hardly anything to report in additional time, with Chelsea having the ball but not really threatening to score. The visitors have been very poor in the second 45 minutes here.
Everton are going to be moving above Bournemouth into 11th position in the table, while Chelsea will remain sixth, three points off fourth-placed Arsenal. Only seconds left to play at Goodison.
CHANCE!  Giroud cannot force a header home from close range.
FULL TIME:  EVERTON 2-0 CHELSEA
So there we have it. The referee brings the second period to a close with Everton running out 2-0 winners over Chelsea at Goodison Park. Thanks for joining Sports Mole for our live Premier League coverage once again. See you very soon!
