Chelsea boosted their Premier League title hopes on Saturday thanks to a dramatic 1-0 victory over Everton at Stamford Bridge.
The scores were level with just a matter of minutes remaining before John Terry converted a Frank Lampard free kick.

Was the result fair?
Chelsea did most of the attacking during what was an intriguing encounter, but Everton will feel unlucky to have come away without a share of the spoils. The visitors worked hard all afternoon, only to be caught out right at the end of the contest.
Chelsea's performance
The Blues looked flat in the first half as the visitors dictated the pace of the game. The home side struggled with their passing and found it difficult to break a determined Everton down. Things changed after the break as they began to take control a bit more, though this was still a fairly unconvincing display from Jose Mourinho's men. That said, they kept going and were rewarded late on with a goal that could prove huge come the end of the season. Full marks for tenacity.
Everton's performance
The visitors gave a great account of themselves as they not only defended doggedly but also attacked with menace and refused to let Chelsea walk all over them. Roberto Martinez's side looked extremely composed in the first half and did well to soak up a lot of Chelsea pressure in the second. On another day they would have come away with a point or maybe even the win. There is sure to be great disappointment among the players following the result, but they can take huge pride in the way that they acquitted themselves with a good all-round display.
Sports Mole's man of the match
Sylvain Distin: The French defender was a colossus at the back for Everton, blocking and tackling as if his life depended on it. How he has never received an international cap remains a complete mystery.
Biggest gaffe
Chelsea could have made their afternoon a lot easier had they gone ahead early on when Willian found himself in space on the edge of the Everton penalty area. However, the Brazilian dragged his woeful shot wide of goal when he had plenty of time to do better.
Referee performance
During what was an occasionally feisty afternoon, Lee Probert did well to allow the game to flow. He remained out of the spotlight, but had no problems halting play whenever necessary.
What next?
Chelsea: The Blues return to Champions League action on Wednesday when they travel to Galatasaray for the first leg of their last-16 clash.
Everton: The Toffees' Premier League campaign continues next Saturday at home to West Ham United.
