Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has admitted that his disallowed goal against Inter Milan has left a "bitter taste", despite the clash being a pre-season friendly.
Antonio Conte's men, who became Premier League champions last season, were beaten 2-1 by the Serie A giants in Singapore.
It was a game full of incident as Stevan Jovetic's opening goal was scored on the rebound of his saved penalty, while Manchester United target Ivan Perisic nabbed Inter's second.
The most bizarre moment of the match came when Geoffrey Kondogbia scored an own goal by attempting a long-range back pass but ended up sending the ball over the goalkeeper and into his own net.
Batshuayi thought he had levelled for Chelsea in the dying moments of the encounter, but an offside flag ruled the goal invalid.
After the match, the Belgian took to Twitter to write: "Mmmmh disallowed goals even on pre-season still have a bitter taste lol. Thanks anyway Singapore. Had fun there!!"
The forward has had a positive pre-season, scoring three in as many outings for the Blues.
