Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has told his teammates to stop looking up the table and take the season one step at a time.
The Blues, who closed the gap at the top of the table to seven points earlier this month, have since dropped points at both Wigan and Spurs to slip 11 points adrift of Roberto Mancini's league-leading Manchester City.
With the club's fate in the title race out of their hands, Cech has urged his teammates to focus on their own results and hope for the best.
"We can't look too much at the table," he said. "We need to keep going step by step, try to win our games and try to catch up as many points as we can.
"We depend on everybody else, so it's up to them how they are going to go, but we just need to keep winning our games."
Fourth-placed Chelsea currently trail Tottenham by two points near the top of the Premier League.
