Chelsea defender David Luiz has revealed that he doesn't allow criticism to get him down.
The 24-year-old's performances have been questioned by many this season, with pundit and former Manchester United defender Gary Neville most notably comparing Luiz to a PlayStation character.
However, the Brazilian has told the club's official website that he is only concentrating on working hard for the team.
"I have been working in the same way as always, training at my best level," said Luiz.
"Sometimes you get criticism, like I did, and recently I have been applauded for my work.
"As long as I can go home and lay down on my bed and have my conscience clear that I am doing an honest job, I am happy."
Luiz joined Chelsea in January 2011 from Benfica.
