Dele Alli has reportedly been omitted from Tottenham Hotspur's squad for Sunday afternoon's Premier League derby with Chelsea.
The playmaker continues to struggle for opportunities under Antonio Conte and is still waiting for his first top-flight minutes since the turn of the year.
Alli has been an unused substitute in wins over Watford and Leicester City in 2022, fuelling speculation that a move elsewhere over the winter could be on the cards.
According to The Athletic, Alli has now been left out of the squad for Sunday's trip to Stamford Bridge, with the Englishman still in line to possibly depart on loan in January.
The report adds that the 25-year-old is yet to garner any significant interest which appeals to both player and club, but Spurs are optimistic about the prospect of a late deal materialising this month.
Alli has two goals and one assist to his name from 18 games in all tournaments this season and has recently been linked with a move to Newcastle United. body check tags ::
