Guus Hiddink has admitted that the 2-2 draw his Chelsea side played out with West Bromwich Albion was "a fair result".
The hosting Blues took the lead on two occasions, but the Baggies hit back through Craig Gardner and James McClean, the latter of whom scored with just four minutes remaining.
"At the end I think it's a fair result although in the first half, after going 1-0 up, we had a few chances to make it 2-0 which didn't happen," the interim boss told the club's official website.
"Then we conceded an unfortunate goal, we let them penetrate too easily. They scored with two shots from outside the box, they were easy goals. The result is the result."
The result has left last season's champions in 14th place, six points above the relegation zone.
