Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard is aiming to sign a new contract with the Blues.
The England player has been in and out of the side this season and was tipped to be looking for a move away from Stamford Bridge, due to the lack of game time under old manager Andre Villas-Boas.
However Lampard has come back into the mix under interim boss Roberto Di Matteo and is now looking to stay with Chelsea for the foreseeable future.
"I love Chelsea and, ideally, I will be here longer than just one more season," he told The Mirror.
"I look at people like Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs at Manchester United and see what they are still doing and I would love to do the same for Chelsea. I want to emulate them.
"Talks are planned with the club in the summer and as long as they want me, I would be more than happy to continue."
Lampard, who has a year to run on his current deal, has been with Chelsea since signing from West Ham United for £11m in 2001.
