Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that striker Diego Costa will be named in his squad for the Premier League match with Bournemouth.
Last weekend, Costa was dropped to the substitutes' bench for the game with Tottenham Hotspur, and the Spaniard appeared to vent his frustration by throwing his training bib towards Mourinho when he was told that he would not be involved during the latter stages.
Despite the incident, Mourinho has revealed that last season's top goalscorer is in contention to start against the Cherries on Saturday evening.
The 52-year-old told reporters: "Diego Costa is selected. He has been very good, it has been a good week for him. I didn't ask him how he found being dropped, but he trained very well and that is what matters to me.
"There are no questions for me. He is one of the players who always tries, I don't need a reaction from him."
Costa has scored just four times in 17 matches in all competitions this season.
