Thibaut Courtois will make his first Chelsea appearance since late August as he replaces Asmir Begovic in goal for Jose Mourinho's side against Bournemouth.
The Belgian goalkeeper has not featured in a competitive match since early September, when he played for his country, due to injury but he is restored to the starting XI in place of Begovic this afternoon.
Baba Rahman is preferred to Cesar Azpilicueta at left-back in Mourinho's only other change from the side which played out a goalless draw with Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
Diego Costa is again left on the bench, with Eden Hazard playing as the Blues' most attacking player.
For the visitors, there is also a change in goal as Artur Boruc returns between the posts to replace the injured Adam Federici, while Adam Smith comes into defence in place of the absent Sylvain Distin.
