Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has praised Andre Schurrle for his impact at Stamford Bridge during his 18 months in West London.
Schurrle has signed for Wolfsburg for a fee believed to be in the region of £22m, and although Mourinho indicated that he was disappointed to part ways with the German international, he has admitted that the club did 'very good business' on transfer deadline day.
The 52-year-old told reporters: "He is a player that we like very much but the business was very good and we're happy with it.
"We're happy with what he has given us and the investment we made in him one-and-a-half-years ago. Hopefully, we made him a better player and hopefully he can have success in the future because we like him very much."
Mourinho has signed Juan Cuadrado from Fiorentina as a direct replacement for Schurrle.
