Gianfranco Zola has insisted that he has not been contacted by Chelsea about taking over the manager's post at the club.
Interim manager Rafael Benitez is due to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, with the current Watford boss among the names being linked to the upcoming vacancy.
The former Chelsea striker told the Daily Mail: "No-one from Chelsea has spoken to me. I am respectful for what Watford have done for me and I am focusing on getting the job done here.
"I really don't know what is around the corner for me, but whatever happens to me is all down to this experience because I have to prove myself as a manager. I am enjoying what we doing at Watford, enjoying and learning."
Zola made 229 appearances for Chelsea between 1996 and 2003.
