Mauricio Pochettino has selected a young Chelsea XI for Wednesday's friendly versus Wrexham in the United States.
In preparation for the new Premier League campaign, the Argentine has taken a 29-player group for five friendlies to be played across the pond, starting with the fixture against the League Two newcomers in North Carolina.
Pochettino has named a team which includes a number of debuts, including Malo Gusto and Andrey Santos after their loan stints back at Lyon and Vasco Da Gama respectively.
Nicolas Jackson, signed from Villarreal, will lead the line, while Cesare Casadei will play alongside Santos after starring at the Under-20 World Cup for Italy.
Diego Moreira also starts after his switch from Benfica, with Ian Maatsen getting an opportunity on the left flank despite speculation regarding his future.
Trevoh Chalobah and Marc Cucurella are familiar names at the back, with Bashir Humphreys, who started an FA Cup tie against Manchester City in January, and Jamie Cumming featuring in the middle of the defence and as goalkeeper respectively.
Carney Chukwuemeka completes the lineup, one which may be significantly altered at half time due to the hot conditions and this representing Chelsea's first friendly of the summer.
