Barcelona are reportedly still interested in Chelsea forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, with the Spanish giants looking to bring the striker back to Camp Nou this summer.
Aubameyang made the switch from the Catalan club to Stamford Bridge in September but has struggled during an unstable season for the Blues as they fight to finish in the top half of the Premier League.
The 33-year-old was barely utilised by former boss Graham Potter - a large reason why Aubameyang has started just four league matches for the London-based club this term.
According to The Mirror, Barcelona have not given up on the idea of re-signing Aubameyang following the conclusion of this season, although the player would be on significantly-reduced wages as the Camp Nou club battle with financial issues.
The report claims that Barca boss Xavi and the club's hierarchy want to know whether the Gabon international wishes to return to Spain by the first week in June, with the La Liga leaders offering the attacker a route out of Stamford Bridge.
Barcelona face Atletico Madrid in La Liga this afternoon at Camp Nou knowing a win would send them 11 points clear at the top of the league standings. body check tags ::
