Bayern Munich reportedly believe that they meet the financial demands of Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger.
The Germany international now has less than five months remaining on his contract, leaving Chelsea powerless to prevent other clubs from holding discussions with one of their key players.
The Blues are allegedly prepared to offer Rudiger close to £200,000 per week in order to remain at Stamford Bridge, a proposal which will likely be considered by the 28-year-old.
However, according to journalist Ekrem Konur, Bayern are confident of securing the services of Rudiger from under Chelsea's noses.
The Bundesliga leaders are in the market for a replacement for Niklas Sule, who has opted to join Borussia Dortmund on a free transfer.
While Sule's wage are nothing in comparison to what Rudiger is demanding ahead of next season, Bayern will likely prefer to sign a free agent given the level of player currently on the market. body check tags ::
