Bayern Munich are reportedly planning a move for Chelsea striker Timo Werner during next summer's transfer window.
The 25-year-old was a regular for the Blues during the 2020-21 campaign, making 52 appearances in all competitions, providing 12 goals and 15 assists in the process, but he struggled for form during stages of the season.
Romelu Lukaku's return to Stamford Bridge means that Werner is unlikely to be given too many opportunities through the middle, while he is down the pecking order for the spots behind the £97.5m arrival from Inter Milan.
According to Sport1, Bayern boss Julian Nagelsmann, who managed the Germany international at RB Leipzig, is keen on a reunion with the attacker at Allianz Arena.
The report claims that Nagelsmann remains in regular contract with his former player, who is viewed as a potential replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
Werner has made two Premier League appearances for the Blues this season but was an unused substitute against Liverpool before the international break. body check tags ::
