Chelsea winger Izzy Brown has signed a new contract with the club and joined Brighton & Hove Albion on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old has put pen to paper on a four-year deal at Stamford Bridge, keeping him at the club until 2021.
However, he will spent the first of those years at the AMEX Stadium having joined Premier League newcomers Brighton on loan.
Brown helped Huddersfield Town to win promotion to the Premier League last season, scoring four goals in 18 Championship appearances following another spell on loan at Rotherham United earlier in the campaign.
"The natural progression for Izzy, having enjoyed such a successful season in the Championship last season, was to step up to the Premier League - and we are delighted he will be doing that with us, here at Brighton," Seagulls boss Chris Hughton told the club's official website.
"He is a player with great potential and will bring a different dimension to our attacking options for the season ahead, alongside our existing strikers."
Brown has made just one senior appearance for Chelsea, with that coming in May 2015.
