Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Bayern Munich forward Sadio Mane.
After spending six years with Liverpool, Mane left the Merseyside club last summer to complete a transfer to the German champions.
Mane got off to a positive start after arriving in Germany, registering 11 goals in his first 23 competitive appearances for Bayern.
However, the move to Bavaria has since turned sour, with Mane picking up an injury in November, which kept him sidelined until February.
Since returning to action, Mane has struggled to find his best form, scoring just one goal in 11 appearances across all competitions.
The former Liverpool man was also the centre of a recent dressing room bust-up with Bayern teammate Leroy Sane.
The 31-year-old allegedly punched Sane following Bayern's Champions League defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on April 11.
Bayern subsequently suspended Mane for their recent 1-1 draw against Hoffenheim, and while he returned to the side to score the opener in Saturday's 3-1 defeat to Mainz, Bayern may consider offloading the Senegal international this summer.
According to Football Insider, Chelsea are interested in offering Mane a way out of the Allianz Arena.
Despite spending £600m over the last two transfer windows, the Blues are still expected to strengthen their squad this summer.
With Chelsea keen to bolster their forward line, they are looking into the viability of a potential summer transfer for Mane.
The striker's versatility may appeal to the Blues, due to his ability to play through the middle as well as out wide.
Bayern want to recoup the majority of the £27m plus add-ons that they paid to sign Mane from Liverpool last summer.
Across spells with Southampton and Liverpool, Mane scored 111 goals and provided 47 assists in 263 Premier League games. body check tags ::
