Chelsea have reportedly tabled an offer worth up to £9m for Wigan Athletic forward Victor Moses.
The Blues have failed in three previous attempts to land the 21-year-old, who has just one year left on his contract at the DW Stadium.
Latics chairman Dave Whelan has valued Moses at £10m.
Their latest bid is believed to include £6m up front, with an extra £3m in add-ons, according to the London Evening Standard.
Moses has made no secret of his desire to secure a move to Stamford Bridge.
The Nigerian joined Wigan from Crystal Palace for £2.5m in 2010.
