Premier League rivals Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly battle it out for Spartak Moscow star Fernando at the end of the season.
The English top-flight duo are also expected to face competition from Everton for the 26-year-old, who is expected to be available for around £22m.
Fernando has impressed in Russia this season with his defensive-midfield displays, even chipping in with five goals and a couple of assists.
According to The Sun, a three-team battle could ensue once the transfer window opens as Spartak are bracing themselves for offers from Chelsea, Spurs and Everton.
Further competition may be provided from teams in Spain, meanwhile, as the same report indicates that Sevilla and Atletico Madrid are hot on Fernando's tail and will consider making an approach.
