Chelsea are reportedly insisting that AC Milan pay £19m if they wish to sign Tiemoue Bakayoko on a permanent deal during this summer's transfer window.
The 25-year-old has spent each of the last two seasons out on loan, representing Milan during the 2018-19 campaign before returning to Monaco, making 23 appearances in his second spell with the club.
Bakayoko is due to return to Chelsea this summer but is allegedly not in Frank Lampard's plans moving forward, which is likely to lead to an exit in the coming weeks.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Frenchman is prepared to take a 50% pay cut in order to secure a permanent move to San Siro ahead of the 2020-21 season.
The report, though, claims that Chelsea are sticking to their £19m asking price as the midfielder still has two years left to run on his contract at Stamford Bridge.
Paris Saint-Germain have also recently been credited with an interest.
