Chelsea are reportedly struggling to offload Radamel Falcao, who has failed to impress during his loan spell at Stamford Bridge.
The Colombian striker joined the Blues from AS Monaco in the summer, but has made two starts in all competitions, scoring just the one goal.
According to ESPN, Chelsea want to cancel Falcao's loan when the transfer window reopens in January, but Monaco are reluctant to welcome the striker back as they do not want to pay all of his wages.
The report adds that Chelsea have so far failed to find a club that wants to sign the 29-year-old, who left Manchester United in the summer after he scored four goals in 29 appearances.
Falcao has not played for the Blues since the end of October.
