Chelsea are reportedly lining up a bid for Queens Park Rangers forward Loic Remy.
The Blues are thought to be in the market for a new striker after selling Demba Ba and Romelu Lukaku and releasing Samuel Eto'o over the summer.
With Fernando Torres also set to depart after agreeing to join AC Milan on loan, the Blues now have just two senior strikers available at their disposal.
According to Goal.com, Chelsea have turned their attentions to signing Remy, after a move for Mattia Destro would have proved too expensive.
It is believed that the Frenchman is desperate for a move to the Blues and there is a clause in his contract allowing him to join a team in the Champions League for £8m.
Remy scored 14 goals in the Premier League last season during a loan spell with Newcastle United.
