Chelsea have reportedly rejected a £20m bid from Crystal Palace for defender Reece James.
The 19-year-old, who is currently on the sidelines with an ankle injury, spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Wigan Athletic, making 45 Championship appearances for the Latics.
James - yet to make his first-team debut for the Blues - only signed a new four-year contract at Stamford Bridge in 2018.
A number of clubs have been linked with moves for the teenager this summer, though, with Manchester United, Leicester City and Brighton & Hove Albion all said to have shown an interest.
According to the Daily Star, Palace tabled a £20m offer for the young Englishman, but Chelsea rejected the bid as the capital club are not willing to sell due to their current transfer ban.
James, who has been with his current club since the age of six, was named in the Championship Team of the Year for the 2018-19 season due to his strong form for Wigan.
