Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has revealed that he would "always want" Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal in his side amid speculation that the Blues are interested in a January move for the Chilean.
Vidal previously played under Conte at Juventus between 2011 and 2014, where he won three successive Serie A titles.
Speculation has surfaced in recent days suggesting that Conte would be interested in a reunion with the 30-year-old midfielder, and the Italian has refused to play down talk of a possible approach next month.
"I must be honest, it's not right to talk about a player of another team. Especially if you try to link this player with us," he told reporters.
"Arturo is a fantastic player... I have a great respect for Arturo, and we spent many years in Juventus together. I'd always want him with me."
Vidal has started just 11 of Bayern's Bundesliga matches so far this season, scoring five goals in the process.
