AC Milan midfielder Michael Essien has turned down contract offers from Queens Park Rangers and West Bromwich Albion because he does not want to play against Chelsea, according to the 32-year-old's agent.
The former Blues talisman is out of contract at the end of the season and is unlikely to sign an extension with the Rossoneri.
His representative Fabien Piveteau is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "Essien doesn't want to play in the Premier League for a different side to his old club Chelsea. We have turned down offers from both West Brom and QPR."
Essien spent nine years at Stamford Bridge and won a host of trophies with the Blues.
