Eden Hazard reportedly has no plans to open talks with Chelsea about a new contract just yet.
The reigning Premier League champions are believed to be offering the playmaker fresh terms worth £300,000 a week.
However, according to The Times, the Belgium international and his representatives will not entertain the prospect of a new deal until the season comes to an end.
The report claims that even though the 26-year-old is happy at Chelsea, he may be waiting to see if Real Madrid come into the picture.
The Spanish giants have been linked with a move for Hazard in the past, but so far the ex-Lille player has resisted any temptation to leave Stamford Bridge.
The playmaker has scored eight goals and created four assists in 18 appearances in all competitions.
In his last five outings for Chelsea, Hazard has scored five goals and made two others.
