Inter Milan 'to rival Barcelona for Sergio Aguero'

Inter Milan are reportedly preparing to rival Barcelona and Chelsea for the signature of Sergio Aguero, who is confirmed to be leaving Manchester City this summer.

Inter Milan have reportedly joined Barcelona in the race to sign soon-to-be free agent Sergio Aguero.

The Manchester City striker will be on the lookout for a new club this summer after it was confirmed that he would leave the Etihad at the end of his existing contract.

Aguero has been tipped to remain in the Premier League with Chelsea, who have been regarded as the frontrunners for his signature in recent weeks, although Barcelona are understood to be in the race as well.

Now, Tuttosport claims that the Argentine has also been offered to Inter Milan and Juventus, but the forward does not favour a move to Serie A.

The report adds that a reunion with Lionel Messi will play a part in his next career move, so a switch to Barcelona is the most likely option if the six-time Ballon d'Or winner elects to sign a new deal.

Aguero will leave Man City as their all-time leading goalscorer, but he has only managed three strikes from 15 appearances during an injury-hit 2020-21 campaign. body check tags ::
