Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has urged the club to give captain John Terry a new contract.
Lampard recently signed a one-year extension that will keep him at Stamford Bridge for next season.
The England international now wants the Blues to offer Terry improved terms before he becomes a free agent in summer 2014.
"I know JT will want to stay, he's said he'd love to stay at Chelsea," Lampard told The Sun. "At the start of next season I think that's when the club will take a view on it. I know what my view would be."
Chelsea are currently in the USA on a post-season tour.
