Frank Lampard will reportedly return to former club Chelsea to tempt teenage midfielder Mason Mount into joining him at Derby County.
The 19-year-old is uncertain of where his long-term future lies after impressing on a season's loan with Vitesse Arnhem last time out.
Mount chipped in with 14 goals and nine assists in the Eredivisie, which he hoped would be enough to earn first-team recognition at Stamford Bridge.
According to The Telegraph, though, another short-term exit could be on the cards as Lampard intends to tap into his connections by taking the England Under-19s international on loan.
Fellow Championship clubs Queens Park Rangers, Reading and Norwich City are also said to be willing to give Mount experience of regular football on these shores.
