Outgoing Bayer Leverkusen chief executive Wolfgang Holzhauser has revealed that they have reached an agreement with Chelsea over deals for Andre Schurrle and Kevin de Bruyne.
The Blues have been tracking the German international for some time now while the Belgian has been impressing in the Bundesliga during his tenure on loan from Stamford Bridge.
However, Holzhauser confirmed that there is a deal in place for the Londoners to buy Schurrle in a move that would see De Bruyne go the other way on a one-year loan deal.
"We are in agreement with Chelsea," Holzhauser told Rheinische Post.
"They buy [Andre] Schurrle for a certain transfer fee and in return [Kevin] de Bruyne is sent on a one-year loan.
"I assume that Chelsea stand by what has been agreed upon."
Schurrle has 23 Germany caps.
