Liverpool are reportedly keen to bring Porto forward Luis Diaz to Anfield during the January transfer window.
The 24-year-old has been in impressive form for his Portuguese club during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 13 times and registering two assists in 20 appearances in all competitions.
Chelsea have also been linked with the attacker, who is allegedly valued by his current side at £42m.
According to reports in Portugal, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp wants the Colombia international to make the move to the club at the start of 2022.
Klopp is believed to be a huge admirer of Diaz and has been impressed by the attacker's performances against the Reds in the Champions League this season.
The South American, who has a contract with Porto until June 2024, has netted 11 times in 13 league appearances during the 2021-22 campaign. body check tags ::
